GREEN ENVY FOR CHANEL

"Fashion fades, only style remains the same." Coco Chanel

Style is the essence of Wardrobe-Edit. It is touches of fashion in a woman's wardrobe that make it fabulous!

The flashes of jade at Chanel were simply irresistable. Featured mostly through accessories, they could fit into any woman's wardrobe effortlessly. Ok, so in practice it is only effortless if money is no object, but the idea is wonderful, no?

For mere mortals, Chanel has crafted this colour into a perfectly priced nail varnish. The waiting list may be a slight problem, though.

I did find this skirt that is exceptionally similar to the Chanel outfit, above. I was ridiculously excited when I sourced it: Chanel style, leather (apparantly this season's must-have), and at a reasonable price. Paired with a white shirt and some flashes of Jade, it makes me a very happy bunny (top image).

A bag in green would be a fun way of adding some green to your wardrobe - I am all for adding many bags to your wardrobe: you can then recycle so many different outfits, and they look completely different. I like this Stella McCartney clutch at Net-a-Porter or this day bag at Topshop

I also found the most gorgeous colour at NAILS INC. but sadly, I can't find it anymore. It was called HAYMARKET. And is so similar to the Jade.

I was surprised by how many people saw my toes and said they would never have thought about green nail varnish.

What do you think?
